Artist Statement:

During my career at Saint Michael's College, I have played with color and tried to get a better understanding of how it can be used to create different feelings for the viewer. This has caused me to experiment with spray paint and graffiti. In these "experiments" I have tried to create what appear to be neon signs made from graffiti. The idea behind these pieces is that by layering different colors on top of each other the graffiti will "glow," appearing as a neon sign.
