Artist Statement:

This project allowed me to do my own research on color variations to see which colors work the best with each other. With all the editing in photoshop I still decided to include my original photos of the animals, to make one big salon style layout on the wall. I am doing this to show my favorite photos but also draw people into the work by allowing them to find the copies or matches of each photo. I wanted the show to be unique and take one's mind away from the idea of Africa, safari, or the zoo. Instead, I want the show to be eye catching so people are looking around constantly and finding the funkiness in the edited pictures but also enjoying the original photos.
